The contest has grown over the years, and the thousands of members of the website enjoy coming up with phrases, voting, and purchasing fingerprint-related t-shirts. The 2002 CLPEX.com T-shirt sports a latent print and a classic phrase with a slight twist, "Nothing in life is certain, except Death, Taxes,... and FINGERPRINTS" All proceeds of t-shirt sales go to website maintenance fees of CLPEX, one of the largest professional fingerprint-related websites on the internet.
