39-81 Black and White Splatter Paint Post Card by JackPollockRevival
39-81 Black and White Splatter Painting. I remember seeing Jackson Pollock paintings early on, as he had just died and my parents drug us to his exhibitions around New York and Chicago. I remember very thick drizzle paint on some of them, made me think of shredded wheat or coconut or maybe crunched up cardboard with bits of this and that in it. Its nearly impossible to portray in 2D but since I was there, I can report that most people stood 20 feet away from his paintings to get 'the full effect'. Weird, since I preferred the bits of junk. <embed wmode="transparent" src="http://www.zazzle.com/utl/getpanel?zp=117374421390665649" flashvars="feedId=117374421390665649" width="450" height="300" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" />
