I took this aerial photo while I flew to Bodo. Bodo is a breathtakingly beautiful City in Nordland, Norway. It is located over the Arctic Circle. It is part of the Salten region. The strongest tidal current on the Earth is Saltstraumen, (Maelstrom) which Jules Verne describes in his book: 20000 Leagues Under the Sea" situated circa 19 miles east of Bodø. It is also noted for its large “White tailed Eagle” population. To visit this tranquil town was one of the greatest highlight of my Arctic travel.
