Text on back reads, “The 1950’s saw the birth of Rock and Roll, born with only an aggressive heartbeat and a glimmer of Rebellion in her eye. As she grew and moved through adolescence, emotions began to surface. The Sixties shaped her and culminated in an outcry of artistic passion that would last nearly a decade. By the 1970’s, Rock & Roll had fully embraced Rebellion. Together, they tore a hole in the fabric of Society the likes of which may never be seen again. Then, as the Eighties dawned, she was suddenly abandoned; the great freedom machine had been crushed by corporate dollars. Rock and Roll had become the junkie, the whore, the sellout; money corrupted her and soon led to her tragic demise. In late 1988, after years of silence, she briefly rose from the ashes; a Phoenix of yesteryear, setting people free once again. This moment was the echo, the faded memory, the last breath of Rock and Roll. Will she be resurrected? I have faith; I believe the second coming is as certain as the sunrise. We only need wait till people are oppressed and searching for a voice, then she will return and set us free once more. For now her job is done; just look around you, look at how the freedom and spirit of Rock and Roll has destroyed conformity and released us. Do you know where you are? Do you have an ‘Appetite For Reunion’?” Note: If you decide to change the shirt colour, don’t forget to adjust the text colour as well so it’s still readable.
