Aries is the First sign of the Zodiac. Aries is the natural ruler of the First House of the Zodiac, commonly referred to as the "House of Self". This adventurous Aries, floats in his constellation. I drew him from my studies of what Aries is. Aries symbol is shown as "The Ram" in the Greek tradition, after the golden ram that rescued Phrixos, taking him to the land of Colchis. Most sources tell me the Lucky Aries colours are Black, Red, and White. In most descriptions of the Ram, he is golden, laying down with his head turned to the right. Individuals born when the Sun was in this sign are considered "Aries individuals" or "Arians". In Western astrology, Aries is considered a "masculine", positive (extrovert) sign. It is also considered a fire sign, and is one of four cardinal signs. ‘I AM’ is the motto for Aries. Aries are the first sign of the zodiac and they put themselves and their desires first. However they do it with a childlike innocence that is very disarming. Aries stand for brave new beginnings and are frequently the one to get something off the ground. Aries are fearless and courageous and will fight passionately for what they want. Aries energy and enthusiasm are contagious and they are keen competitors. Aries are ardent in love and won't hesitate to make the first move. Aries can also be impatient and outspoken. Their eagerness can seem pushy and their assertiveness can easily become aggression.
