"That's right, I read those backward books. Something wrong with that?"
Manga (Japanese comic books or graphic novels) are read from right to left instead of left to right; so often I get asked "Oh, you read those backward books?" or "Are those books really backwards?" It always makes me laugh, too. It's not that the words themselves are backwards or anything, just the panels. For those that haven't tried it, it does take a little getting used to at first but you generally pick it up fast. If I read comics that are left to right (European style) I get confused because I keep trying to read them backwards. XD
