Bagoong : American Apparel Redux by Rocksaw

Bagoong is a filipino treat popular in the Ilocos region of Northern Luzon. It is made by mixing measured amounts of fish, shrimp and brine, which are traditionally then left to ferment until it produces bubbles and acquires its characteristic pungent odour. Personally my favourite part is having my friends come over and be like, "What the heck is that ?!?!?" to which I reply, "Well, its like a paste..."
