This version of our Ban The Bomb design has been given a worn-look, washed effect for that authentic aged look. During the Cold War, the nuclear arms race was the main fear for people the world over. At various times, it was even seen as being inevitable that one day a global thermonuclear war would destroy us all. Although world leaders could never agree how to stop the madness of endlessly stockpiling enough nuclear weapons to kill everyone on the planet many times over, protesters and idealists still campaigned tirelessly for the bomb to be taken away altogether. Ban The Bomb was one of the central slogans used for many years, making this a great design for 1960s parties or Sixties fancy dress.
