Today Horses are viewed more as entertainers in racing, riding stables, amusement parks, circuses, etc. There is a certain power and freedom a rider feels on top of a horse and numerous programs are offered throughout the United States for handicapped riders. These therapy horses are no less great than the horses that helped in the development of our country for they are assisting people from all lifestyles with severe physical and mental problems.
