The Summer Palace ranks the first in well-kept imperial gardens throughout the world. - Situated in the centre of the Rear Lake and originally called Business Street, the Suzhou Street was build in the style of southern China towns. The 300 metres long street was build along the river bank with more than 60 shops including teahouses, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, and etc. It was the place where the emperor, empress, and concubines took a stroll in leisure. - Designed by Norman Reutter
