This humourous image is based on an 1899 theatre poster for the vaudeville play, "The Real Widow Brown" (directed by A. Q. Scammon) in which "a devious black woman" passes for white to trick white men into marrying her. That's as much information about this image I've seen, but I'm assuming the "black widow" goes on to kill her new rich husbands for their money. She sounds like a real "bitch on wheels" to me!
