Outside the popular Blue Peter Inn hangs the flag (white square on a blue background) from which this old atmospheric Polperro pub derives its name. Used by the Royal Navy since the days of wooden sailing ships, the Blue Peter flag means 'get aboard, the ship is about to sail.' From Christine's original watercolour.
