Angolo Bronzino’s Renaissance masterpiece “Touch Me Not”. Angolo Bronzino (1503-1572) was a Renaissance mannerist painter from Florence. During his life time Bronzoni was known primarily as a portrait painter. He was the official court painter of Duke Cosimo Di Medici. His portrait style influenced court portraits throughout Europe for many generations. He also was commissioned to do many church frescos and did several paintings based on classical mythology themes.
