A Maneki Neko beckoning in good luck and fortune. A cute calico Japanese bobtail, with holding the traditional koban.
The Maneki Neko, literally "Beckoning Cat". Sometimes called Welcoming Cat, Lucky Cat, Money cat or Fortune Cat, too, is a common Japanese sculpture, often made of porcelain or ceramic, believed to bring good luck to the owner. Traditionally a Japanese Bobtail beckoning with an upright paw, calico is rare among Japanese bobtails and is considered extra lucky.
Our medium length apron has three spacious pockets in the front so it holds everything whether you’re cooking, painting or gardening. It’s made from a 35/65 cotton-poly twill blend and it’s machine washable. Slightly wider than our longer version it’s 61cm L x 71cm W.
