This photograph is of a portion of Marc Chagall's fabulous fresco which is the ceiling of the main performance hall of the famous older Paris Opera House, known as Palais Garnier. Chagall completed the fresco in 1964 and signed it in the White Section. This is the most romantic ceiling you will find in any structure.
