Cyber-bullying is when teenage students or groups use technology against each other. Social media sites are one form that might be combined with email or text messages to hurt, harass, put down, tease, and even physically threaten kids they don't like. The torment might start off with an individual person but it is the family who suffers the most, since there is a strong connection between cyber-bullying and teen suicide. Suicide awareness training can help parents see the warning signs before it's too late. The whole family needs to fight together against cyber-bullying, and hopefully we can save more young lives.
