If I Were A Man, I'd Join the Navy Posters
Patriotic American posters from World War s 1 and 2. The last national war work campaign involved civic and religious groups all focused on November 11-18, 1918! Here are posters honouring the Army Air Force’s new “Air Service,” the tank corps as we ll as the Marine Corps and the United States Navy. The sea service was growing rapidly in the 1930’s and our posters reflect the need for manpower. Check out a mother delivering her son to Uncle Sam! We have the cream of the posters recruiting merchant seamen and small boat operators for the Coast Guard to the Women Ordnance Workers, the Army, Victory Girls and Victory Gardens.
