This is not a Thomas Jefferson quote, Davy Crockett quote, Barry Goldwater quote, or other pervasive misattribution. This is a Gerald Ford quote from 1974:

No one is faulting you for not doing your research prior to now. However, to continue selling this as anything other than a Gerald Ford quote amounts to fraud, which actually undercuts the message you're trying to send. The honorable thing to do is to remove this item from sale, or to re-design it to give credit to the correct author (Gerald Ford).
