A wonderful flower group, with roses, carnations, and wildflowers, painted to the side of a large Sevres wine cooler. This was the King's own factory, and the clients were the French Aristocracy; now it's available to anyone! Info from www.moorabool.com: Superb Sevres wine cooler of large proportions, well painted with bunches of flowers, the scrolled handles with details picked out in blue and gold, with blue line borders bound with gold leaves. Mark- crossed “L’s” & “R” for 1770, indistinct painters mark.
