I believe we were created naked by God to be His adored. I believe we fell from grace when our pride turned us from honering OUR FATHER to honering Ourselves. I believe JESUS CHRIST is our salvation. I believe that if we believe in and submit to the will of God...we can regain eternal happiness.I believe Heaven to be like an earthly "Tahiti"...a dazzling tropical white-sand archipeligo of shimmering emerald lagoons...soft sunset breezes...and sweet frangipani perfumes...all wrapped in the loving cloak of a perfect safety...a perfect harmony...and a perfect love. I believe that there is no contradiction between the Catholic notion of God and an intimate sensuality. I believe that God once loved us sensually and intimately and will do so again. I believe that apart from God's love for us and ours for Him...there exists no more perfect love in the Universe than that between a man and a woman. And I believe that...being God's chosen...we can live FOREVER...loving and loved by God, the Angels, the Saints and one another...IF we honor GOD THE FATHER...once again!

As we mourn the "tragedy" at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, I think it's important to consider that we should start making the distinction in our culture between "tragedy" and "atrocity." What happened in Japan two years ago with the horrible earthquake and tsunami which took thousands of lives in the blink of an eye...that was a "tragedy." It was in essence...the confluence of random events nobody could have stopped whether they wished to or not. "Tragedies" happen all the time. They can stem from natural occurring events and/or from human actions which combine to produce "unforeseen" and "random" consequences. But "atrocities." "Atrocities" are not "unforeseen." "Atrocities" are not "random." Atrocities are "human devised" and "human executed" and the sufferings they cause are "planned" to happen. The events of September 11th, 2001, were an "atrocity." They were "planned" to happen. The bombing in Oklahoma City in 1995 which killed 165 men, women and
children...that was an "atrocity." It was "planned" to happen. And the reason it makes a difference whether we use the word "atrocity" over the word "tragedy" is that by adopting the word "tragedy" in its place ...we turn an "atrocious" event into something less "horrifying" than what it really is. Because as long as we call an event "tragic" we imply a certain "fatalism" as though we could have done nothing to stop it. And thus our use of language which would otherwise rightfully express our horror and anger...is replaced instead with the more "accommodating" and "gentler" lexicon of "acceptance" and "healing." What happened at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut...the "slaughter" by gun of 26 defenseless women and Children...was not a "tragedy." It was an "atrocity." And though ultimately we might all hope to "accept" and to "heal"...just as we'd do with a "tragedy"...right now it is necessary to be "horrified" and "angered" so that we can do something about it and see that it never happens again. Support Gun Control. Stop this madness of "gun worship" in America. Because as surely as Gollum's ring seduces Bilbo Baggins in J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit"...the gun has become and will continue to be the "seducer"...the "precious" murder machine...of the American Public.
