Villa Vizcaya, Miami, FL Villa Vizcaya is a Neo-Renaissance villa on Biscayne Bay, Miami. It was built for James Deering between 1914 and 1922. An entire small village supplied the villa and the surroundings gardens and parks. Miami-Dade county purchased the main building and the park after WW2. Today it's a museum which houses the art collection of Deering.
