【まるに かわり きりたけささに かさ】笹紋／笹は・・神を呼ぶ招（お）ぎ代なのだ。・・笹を持っておどる。また「ささ、ささ」とかけ声を神楽声（ささごえ）というが、これは神を呼ぶ声である。・・・笠は・・標（しめ）を表す。・・「神のいます」印（しるし）なのである。むかし、笠縫部（かさぬいべ）という部民があった。この部民は、笠をつくることを職とする。・・これは神宿りのための笠を作る者たちで、神聖な職業であった。それゆえ、この部は忌部氏に属していた。いわば神官と密着していたのである。こうして代々、笠縫いは、伊勢神宮をはじめ多くの神宮に奉仕してきた。（丹羽基二著「家紋百話(上)」）

Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world!
