丸に銀杏鶴 バイスクルトランプ PLAYING CARDS

【まるにいちょうつる】銀杏紋。銀杏は中国から（宋）から渡来した植物である。宋では鴨脚（ヤチャオ）で、鴨の足のような形の葉からついた名だが、これが訛ってイチョウとなった。銀杏は公孫樹（こうそんじゅ）ともいう。種をまいても孫の代にならなければ食べられないというところからきている。そこから長寿、子孫繁栄のしるしともなっている。（「家紋知れば知るほど」丹羽基二著より） 呼称は、「紋之泉」「紋の志をり」によったが、「紋典」は”丸に変り銀杏鶴”としている。
