【ろくもんせん】銭紋。 六文銭は俗称で、本当は六連銭。人間死ぬと、落ちゆく先が、生前の所業次第で、地獄・餓鬼・畜生・修羅・人間・天上の六道にふるい分けられる。よくしたもので、方面それぞれに、六道能化(のうげ)の地蔵がいて、報賽を受ける。それにいるびた銭で、それ以外の費用はいっさいあちらもち、ということで棺に入れてやる。六道仏説の旗紋・家紋への反映が「六連銭」のわけだ。(高橋賢一著「大名家の家紋」) 真田幸村の家紋として有名。

VERY DISAPPOINTING, would be the title of my review. The first photo is what I saw online & ordered. The second photo is what I received. The photo AND description of this product on the website is very deceiving. I assumed since “glitter” was in the name of the item, that it would indeed be made with glitter, NOT a printed representation of glitter. Another poor quality clock made in China & it looks so unbelievably cheap. This clock isn’t worth more than $15, WAY overpriced at 30+ dollars, $45 with shipping. BUYER BEWARE!
