【ほんじょうだいこん】大根紋。この図案並びに呼称は「紋典」を参考にした。／徳川第五代将軍、綱吉の生母は桂昌院である。彼女は自分が八百屋の娘であったことを忘れないために、大根紋を家紋に決めた。桂昌院によって世に出た弟、宗資（むねすけ）に始まり、丹波宮津七万石の城主となる本庄氏はこの大根紋を継承している。（楠戸義昭著「日本人の心がみえる家紋」Ｐ２１１）／沼田頼輔氏は自書の「日本紋章学」で、桂昌院が八百屋の娘であったとする説を、「系譜の示すところによると、・・（桂昌院の）母は伯伯部（ははかべ）氏の出で、その出身も詳らかであるので、恐らくこの説は後人の付会したもので、信じるに足りないように思われる」としている。

The image in the key ring is good and has turned out well. The key ring itself feels very light in the hand and almost feels cheap, if that makes sense. It looks good but feels like it may not last. It doesn’t feel like a £20 key ring. Time will tell!! The image looks great and is detailed and clear.
