Kiitsu Suzuki (1796-1858) was a Japanese artist of the last part of Edo era. In pupils of Hoitsu Sakai of Edo-rinpa, it is the best-known virtual successor. Urbane sophistication and intellectual decorativeness common to modern times stand out and are placed when it is the pioneer illustrator of the modern Japanese painting.
