【ささりんどう】龍胆紋／清和源氏の紋章が龍胆であるという誤伝は、何故うまれたのか？ 星野恒氏は村上源氏の諸氏が、いずれも笹龍胆を用いていたから、誤って清和源氏の家紋と見なされたのであると論じている。これは妥当な解釈であろう。龍胆紋を用いた者は、村上源氏の他に、宇多源氏がいる。今「雲上明覧」によると、村上源氏の後裔に、久我・六条・岩倉・千種・梅谿・愛宕・久世・東久世・植松の九家がある。宇多源氏の方は、庭田・綾小路・五辻・大原・慈光寺の五家があって、ともに龍胆紋を用いている。だから村上源氏といい、宇多源氏といい、いずれも龍胆紋を用いていたために、清和源氏もまた龍胆紋だろうと想像して、誤伝が生まれたのであろう。なお、清和源氏が龍胆を定紋としたという事実は、確実な記録では、どこにも見られない・・・龍胆は清和源氏の代表的な家紋でないことは明らかである。（「日本紋章学」）

The image in the key ring is good and has turned out well.
The key ring itself feels very light in the hand and almost feels cheap, if that makes sense. It looks good but feels like it may not last.
It doesn’t feel like a £20 key ring.
Time will tell!! The image looks great and is detailed and clear.
