    歌川豊国 Utagawa Toyokuni Utagawa Toyokuni (1769 - February 24, 1825), also often referred to as Toyokuni I, to distinguish him from themembers of his school who took over his gō (art-name after he died) was a great master of ukiyo-e, known in particular for his Kabuki actor prints. He was one of the heads of the renowned Utagawa school of Japanese woodblock artists, and was the person who really moved it to the position of great fame and power it occupied for the rest of the nineteenth century.

    I've been following Digitalblasphemy for over 10 years. Needed something to break up wall space in my home and saw this piece advertised on DB's facebook page. Was skeptical at ordering canvas without seeing it first, but the pieces look great. They arrived on time and were packaged to ensure no damage during shipping. Great buy. Coloring and image quality were spot on for canvas. I knew going into the purchase it would be glossy (not usually a fan of gloss) but after some time I suspect these will chill out and look even better.
