1871 vintage advertising poster for ' Jacksons Best Chewing Tobacco ' of Petersburg Virginia. The poster depicting a hippopotamus and rhinoceros asking African explorer Sir Henry Morton Stanley for a plug of chew. Stanley is seen handing the two a package of Jacksons Chewing Tobacco. I have two variations of this design available.

The product was as I expected it to be. The availability of such a quirky image was great. I've already used to as an illustration for a professional presentation on the importance of tobacco in the Mid-Atlantic region. The audience loved the whimsical nature of the image and helped me keep their attention. The printing was good, although a tad off center.
