Issued in India from 1894 through 1899, the Simoor Postage and Inland Revenue Stamp. Simoor, or better known as The Princely States or Native States of India was a region of India not under direct British Rule. Really a handsome design, the Princely States 6 Pies stamp depicts a young elephant whom I'd swear is smiling.
