1920s Knickerbocker Theatre playbill cover print Sherpa Blanket

1920s Knickerbocker Theatre playbill cover print Sherpa Blanket

A few years ago, I found at a flea market a huge collection of Broadway playbills, dating from the late 1910s through the early 1930s. This image came from one of them. A nifty print for all kinds of EVERYTHING, including throw blankets! Perfect for the theatre decor (and also the theatre decor), Broadway decor, artsy decor, and eclectic decor. BTW, some neat little history: The theatre was built at 1398 Broadway in 1893, and was originally called the Abbey Theatre, named for producer and theatre manager Henry Abbey, who managed the booking house until his death in 1896. Then, the Theatrical Syndicate group assumed control and renamed it the Knickerbocker. In 1906, it introduced Broadway's first moving electric sign, an advertisement for each current production. The building was sold after the stock market crash, and demolished in 1930. Wanna see more old? Here's my blog!! www.fullservicebohemian.blogspot.com

The fabric is really soft, and thick, I’m sitting here with it wrapped around me and it’s so warm! It’s really smooth and sleek on the printed side and fluffy on the back. I love it! Such good quality, so vibrant and clear, not blurry at all! See the photos I’ve attached, there’s no filters or anything on them!

Fantastic quality and the size is brilliant. Already looking at what other products are on the site as I will definitely be buying from here again. Absolutely fantastic. Some images came up with a warning as I was making the blanket but I didn’t have another copy so I went for it. I expected the photo to be really blurry but although not as clear as the others it is much clearer than I expected.

The feel was absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately I underestimated the size but I have the large size in my basket waiting to go :). Fantastic quality! Really pleased with how the print came out
