Murad cigarettes were popular in the early 20th century, along with other Turkish tobacco brands. By the late 1920s, Turkish tobacco was being phased out, in favour of Virginia tobacco, but their ads, with their exotic and colourful appeal are unmatched. Which brings us to this neato image, found in a 1920s playbill. My shop has OODLES more items graced with old Murad cigarettes ads, all found in a haul of 1920s playbills I found several years ago.
