It’s sure no Rat Rod – though with fifteen years of stand out in the sun and weather it could be well on its way. Some might want to apply the moniker Custom Car to this Ground-Beater. But I’m gonna settle all arguments on this machine and call it just what it is. I reckon a Street Rod is a souped-up light-weight auto with a powerful engine set up for street racing. Street Racing? That’s just what it sounds like. The contestants cruise the main drags of their town looking for a run against a villainous rival with his (or her) own Street Rod. When they find one another it’s Katy-Bar-The-Door at the next red light. Or as we have seen ‘em do out here in the sticks – a meet-up out on a long, lonely stretch of black-top where the best driver and machine thrill the locals and scatter the livestock – Now that’s fun ~:0) VivaChas!
