2/47th Valorous Unit - Tet Offensive 1968 Bumper Sticker
The 2/47th Infantry was awarded the Valorous Unit Award for the Battle of Long Binh/Bien Hoa on January 31, 1968, the Tet Offensive. The award, the unit equivalent of the Silver Star, was made in Jan '69, so most Panthers who fought during Tet are unaware they were entitled to wear it. So here is a belated chance to display it proudly. The bumper sticker features photo-real Valorous Unit Award ribbon, brass crossed rifle insignia, and the M113 track silhouette cut from the Vietnam Service Medal ribbon. The snarling panther mascot adorns the track.
