The 4th Armoured Division Tribute is intended to commemorate the United States military's distinguished armoured division. This division made history during WWII by leading General Patton's Third Military Force in Europe. Unlike most US armoured divisions, it lacked an official nickname during the war. However, its unofficial nickname, "Name Enough," emerged after the war, reflecting the division commander's sentiment that the "Fourth Armoured Division was name enough" and that "they shall be known by their deeds alone." The "Breakthrough" division was formed in 1954. This design commemorates both the division and the brave men and women who served with courage and sacrifice.
