"Grandville, was an French caricaturist, famous for his illustration filled with political satire, as well as his illustrations of Don Quixote, Gulliver's Travels, Robinson Crusoe, to name just a few.The work which first established his fame was a series of seventy scenes in which individuals with the bodies of men and faces of animals are made to play a human comedy.
