At 570 Front Street in Natchitoches, Louisiana—part of the National Landmark Historic District—this is a classic example of historic (1700's) French wrought ironwork ornamentation representative of the ornate wrought iron galleries and metalwork that define the city's historic commercial district. The image depicts a classical Baroque or Rococo-style architectural ornament, chraacterised by its symmetrical, flowing floral and scrollwork designs.
