A Simple Bunny T-Shirt
I found a tiny stuffed bunny at an estate sale that someone had made out of a blue sock. It had a pitiful look and its paws were curiously sewn together. I made a drawing of the bunny, later scanning in the drawing and superimposing my own face upon it. The sycamore trees are from photos taken in my front yard. The rabbitholes were derived from a photo of the butt-end of a stick of firewood . The brick is from a photo of a building in Benton, AR. The clover was photographed on Henderson State Univ. campus. Anxiety. Indecision. Powerlessness. Constraint. Timidity. Melancholy.... I tend to take everything too seriously; this makes a mockery of that aspect of self.
