A Stroll Up La Rue Grande Poster

Rue Grande is a former Roman road. Its "pontis" a bridge crossing the road and linking two houses, adds an extra touch of style to this ancient village of Saint-Paul de Vence. A few steps on from the "pontis" looms the most famous fountain in France. The emblem of the village, it dates from 1850. At that time, natural springs were a great source of rivalry and division. Right up until the 20s, springs were the cause of many an electoral combat. Water flowing from Malvan and Font Renaude was needed by the population, animals, farmers for their crops,and the washerwomen. St. Paul de Vence, Provence France. Photography by Minerva Bloom.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
