Senbazuru (a thousand cranes) is a Japanese tradition which states that anyone folding a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish, usually related to recovery from illness or injury, as well as long life. Friends and family will get together to fold a thousand paper cranes, which are offered as a special get well gift showing their care and well wishes. This is a picture I took of a pile of paper cranes I was folding with my friends and it always cheers me up with its gorgeous vibrant colours. Send your get well wishes in vibrant, happy colours.
