This is a wonderful image by famous cowboy artist Frederic Remington, called Aiding A Comrade. It depicts two mounted cowboys coming to the aid of a third cowboy caught up in the stirrup of his bucking bronco. This is a scene that played out many times in the old American West. Remington was a master at capturing the action of this historic time. This is one of his more famous paintings, and the image is now in the public domain for all to enjoy. The image is repeated twice on the mug against a navy blue background.

I ordered two of these mugs to go with a food tray with the same painting on it. Very pleased with everything. Mug is good quality, although a bit pricey. It was worth it because I wanted the match. Printing is excellent. Very clear without fuzziness, and the colors are bright. Very happy with my purchase.
