Ainsley (8) and Annika (6) are two sisters who love to draw--and who want to use their art to help others.
We originally launched this store during the 2016 Presidential campaign, to sell Hillary art Ainsley created during the first debate. Her designs made nearly $1,900 in proceeds, of which she donated 75% to three different charities: 25% to Mary's Place (http://www.marysplaceseattle.org), 25% to the American Refugee Council (http://arcrelief.org), and 25% to PAWS (https://www.paws.org). The remainder went to her college fund, because hey, art school is expensive!
Moving forward, the girls will be creating art collections to support different charities. Their first collection is called "Love Makes a Family." They want everyone to know that gay, lesbian, and trans couples and families deserve the same rights as all of us. Ainsley and Annika each created a design to show what this message means to them. We all love the drawings, and hope you and your family will love, too!
50% of proceeds from the sale of these items will go to Lambda Legal (http://www.lambdalegal.org/). The remaining 50% will go to their college funds (good luck getting help with skyrocketing education costs with our new president as well).
More art will be coming from both sisters! With much love from Ainsley and Annika.
