This postcard features the mausoleum of Aisha Bibi in the town of Aisha Bibi in Kazakhstan. Aisha Bibi was a young woman who was engaged to Karakhan. As she made her way to Taraz to marry him, she was bitten by a snake and died. In her honour, Karakhan built this mausoleum on the site where she died. He never married anyone else.
