Aït Benhaddou Morocco Postcard

Aït Benhaddou Morocco Postcard

Aït Benhaddou is a historic 'ksar' (fortified village) in the Drâa-Tafilalet region of Morocco, situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. This incredible example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a breathtaking masterpiece of desert design. The village is built entirely of sun-dried mud bricks (pisé) and is composed of numerous individual kasbahs (fortified dwellings) tightly packed together within defensive walls, all blending seamlessly with the reddish-brown landscape. While now mostly uninhabited, a few families still live inside, preserving its ancient way of life. Perched dramatically on a hill above the Ounila River, Aït Benhaddou has a unique, ancient atmosphere that feels frozen in time. Its stunning location and authentic architecture have made it a popular filming location for major films and television series, including 'Lawrence of Arabia,' 'Gladiator,' and 'Game of Thrones,' adding a layer of cinematic history to its deep cultural significance. Visitors can wander through its winding, narrow alleys, climb to the agadir (granary) at the top of the hill for panoramic views, and experience the timeless beauty of Morocco's southern desert landscape.

Bought 10 Shakespeare quotes postcards and have framed them individually and placed them around the house Love them, some are funny and some are deep and meaningful! Lovely background on some, excellent printed words. A couple of plain white cards with black print - very stricking

My order was probably an awkward one! I asked for a range of different fine-art prints, in postcard size. It was all freshly printed, delivered quickly and at a very reasonable price. Best quality matt finish I've seen on a fine-art print.

These cards are great quality, I use them as enclosure cards for my business! Hey are a little pricey but you definitely get the quality and professionalism! Repurchased a few times now and will continue to do so :). Beautiful, nice sheen on them, sharp and clear
