Alannah - a portrait of one of the girls in an upcoming book I'm doing the illustrations for. It is a hauntingly beautiful painting - I'm very proud of her. Alannah (in the book) is a girl who lives in an ancient cathedral, as a caretaker. She has grey swirling hair, striking grey eyes, and wings made out of stone. I have shown her standing in the cathedral with a candle in her hands and a key on a necklace around her neck. There are stained glass windows in the background, with light filtering in. The cathedral is actually based visually on one I visited on my trip to France this summer! I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
