All the Colours with Swirls and Lines Tea Towel

"It Was the Very First Day" is an art piece I created when feeling extra whimsical and playing with my Wacom digital tablet. Having drawn swirls and curved parallel lines in an organic fashion, I then edited those black lines to add a 3d feel before adding colours and textures to the overall image. But the colours aren't "fill in the lines" like some of my work, but rather splashes and splotches and brushstrokes on their own layer before being combined with the darker outlines. The end result is quite a lot like stained glass produced in nearly every colour of the rainbow. The lines were intentionally drawn with a choppy hand so the effect is somewhat childlike and intentionally rough and not-at-all sophisticated. Playing with one's inner child yields good things sometimes.
