Alfons Mucha, often known in English and French as Alphonse Mucha, was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist, known best for his distinct style. He produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements, postcards, and designs. Princess Hyacinth is a theatre advertisement poster and features a beautiful girl with red flowers in her hair. Mucha's work has continued to experience periodic revivals of interest for illustrators and artists. Interest in Mucha's distinctive style experienced a strong revival during the 1960s (with a general interest in Art Nouveau) and is particularly evident in the colourful psychedelic poster art.     Much better than expected, the print is clear and not murky at all as I found with redbubble mug prints. Its a big mug! I like! Very impressed! It's a single colour but the detail of the logo and shield came out rather well.
