Altar Shaped Archaeological Tomb Ireland Badge

Of archaeological interest is this altar wedge tomb, on the Mizen peninsula, West Cork, Ireland whose entrance is aligned with Mizen mountain peak. Built from local grey granite it a wedge shaped tomb with several slabs of stone as legs supporting a table of two large flat rocks that give the appearance of a church altar. The low small structure is surrounded in flat rural green countryside near the Atlantic Ocean.
