Elegant colourful seascape with red sun, sea waves in vibrant black,brown,white colours elaborated from an antique Japanese miniature. Amaterasu is a part of the Japanese myth cycle and also a major deity of the Shinto religion. She is the goddess of the sun, but also of the universe. The name Amaterasu derived from Amateru meaning "shining in heaven." The meaning of her whole name, Amaterasu-ōmikami, is "the great August kami (god) who shines in the heaven".For Amaterasu is also credited with inventing the cultivation of rice and wheat, the use of silkworms and weaving with the loom.

These soft, yet vibrant blue recipe cards came out exactly as I expected. Bridal shower guests will share their favorite recipe with the bride-to-be. The print and font look perfect. Only product concern was that the slick finish of the card makes it a challenge to write on if not using the correct pen.
