Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh King Tutankhamun Large Clock

Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh King Tutankhamun Wall Clock ... 100 year anniversary clock ... The tomb was discovered in 1922. This 22 pound pure gold burial mask was later found on the mummy ... it has Ancient Egyptian dark blue glass (in headdress) matching the imported dark blue Lapis Lazuli precious stone (eye liner). Age of the mask? It was made circa 1323 BC! It is one of the most beautiful works of ancient art ever found. TUTANKHAMUN By Mark Edward Westerfield 23 August 2020 Very soon, in 2022, the 100 year anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun will be celebrated. Ancient Egyptian Boy-Pharaoh King Tutankhamun (Tut.Ankh.Amun) ruled Egypt for about a 9 year period from about age 9 about 1324 BC to about 1323 BC for about a 9 year period. ‘Tut.Ankh.Amun’ means ‘Image.Life (or Living).Amun’ or ‘The Living Image of the God Amun … His birth name had been Tutankhaten or ‘The Living Image of the God Aten’ … was born about 1341 BC and died about 1323 BC at age 18 or 19 … he ruled about 1332 - 1323 BC. He became Pharaoh of all Egypt by about age 9 until he died about age 18 or 19. Other spellings include replacing -Amun with -Amon or -Amen. By the way, the similarity of “Amen” to Christians and Hebrews and Muslims ending a prayer “Amen” may actually be connected to the fact that their ancestors the Ancient Hebrew tribes lived and flourished for centuries in Ancient Egypt where Ancient Egyptian priests would have intoned the god’s name “Amen.” Moses, himself, had been trained as a Prince and Priest of Amun as the adopted child of a Princess daughter of the Pharaoh of Egypt. Thus, as a young boy in prayer, Moses surely intoned the name Amun or Amon or Amen. Even the very name Moses comes from the Egyptian word ‘born’ (‘drawn out’) ‘Moses’ which is found in names of Egyptian Pharaohs such as Ramses meaning Born of Ra (Ra.Moses). Which can be translated literally ‘Son of God’. This god being Ra or Re the Sun god. Pharaoh Tutankhamun’s father was Pharaoh Akhenaten who famously radically shifted the religion of Ancient Egypt towards a more monothiestic religion based upon the Sun disc image with its Sun rays as outstretched protective arms. Tutankhamun’s mother was a sister of his father. Her mummy has been identified as his mother and sister of his father but her name is uncertain. It is believed that she was not Akhenaten’s Queen Nefertiti. After the death of Akhenaten, Egypt cast off the monothiestic religion centred on the Sun disc with outstretched Sun ray comforting arms, and returned to the more traditional gods … the main god being Amun … who was combined in time with the Sun god Ra as Amun-Ra. 2022 will be the 100 year anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun (1922). It took some months work to finally manage to get to the mummy itself because it was inside a pure gold coffin itself nested inside another gold covered coffin which itself was nested inside yet another gold covered coffin which itself was nested inside a stone sarcophagus itself nested inside three nested gold covered shrines all tightly fitting inside a small room in his tomb. So, though the tomb was discovered in 1922, the mummy with its gold mask was not reached until 1925.
